March 2007

I had x-rays done of my hands and knees. A lot of inflammation and osteoarthritis. The doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory. The blood work is back but I must see the doctor again after I have a grammagrafia of my throat and thyroid. The ultrasound showed nodules as I had while in Boston.

We have had a lot of rain here, overflowing the rivers and caused many causalities.

I have been having problems with the tires on the car. Many flat tires.

About two weeks ago I came to Santo Domingo with the little boy 2 1-2 years old who needs a pacemaker. I was going pretty fast and the tire exploded. We were able to stop ok and a motorcycle taxi changed the tire.

I went to a mechanic yesterday to have the car checked before our trip today and he said I must get new tires. Said at a minimum, to put one of the back tires on the front right. Went to a tire shop and they were able to do it.

Also desperately need a front end alignment and struts (I think) that go on the back tires. One of the front tire ball bearings, not sure, broke and had to get it replaced.
