Yoheves, my young engineer friend has wireless internet that his work provides him. I am sure he might be able to help me when he is in town. He now works at the power plant in Santo Domingo for a Finnish contract company. Yoheves expressed interest in working in the U.S. at a power plant. It is nearly difficult for Dominicans to get an American Visa.

I have been trying to pin down the director of Maternity Hospital. Earlier I donated a lot of medicine and asked for statistics from the census. I was hoping for the information to include in the RFF announcement. I have received more donations of blood glucose monitors, needles and other things so will go to maternity to try and encourage him with incentives.

Locally, school officially starts next Monday. Last week I took kids to Puerto Plata to get them fitted for school uniforms and run errands. The stores close from 12 to 2 so we went to Pizza Hut for lunch and kill time. It was a treat for them and especially for me.

I have been advertising the car for sale. The insurance has expired so it has been basically parked. I was thinking that I would use the money, if i can sell it, to try and finish the Garcia home. I have not received anymore donations and the emails I have sent to request donations have come back in the negative. Like everywhere else in the world, the economy here is not good. The sugar cane factory has closed and I heard 2,000 people are without jobs.

Yoheves just came in from Santo Domingo. His grandmother died. I will try to see him and his mother.
